Is an account required to rent a trailer?
No, you can rent directly online. All forms are sent via email and SMS, so you can complete everything right from your phone.
What is the minimum age required to rent a trailer?
You must be at least 18 years old to rent a trailer.
Do I need a special license to tow a trailer?
No special licenses are required for personal use.
Do I need insurance to rent a trailer?
Yes, insurance is required. All renters and drivers must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and registration for the towing vehicle.
How do I book a trailer?
Pick a trailer on the fleet page, choose your dates in its booking calendar, and reserve online. No account is required, and every form is sent by text and email.

What trailers do you rent?
Top Star Rentals rents a power tilt trailer and a Cottrell 8-car hauler.
Will my vehicle be able to tow the Power Tilt Trailer?
The Power Tilt Trailer is a 2026 MAXX-D T5X 10K with a GVWR of 9,990 lbs and an empty weight of 3,150 lbs. Add your load to the empty weight and confirm your tow vehicle's rating before booking. Call (215) 445-1801 if you want help.
Are tie downs or straps included?
Yes, all straps are included with our car haulers.
Is there an experience requirement for the 8-car hauler?
Yes. A minimum of 2 years of 8-car hauler experience is required, and rental terms apply.
Pickup, Hours & Delivery
What are your rental hours?
Pickup is available anytime between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Can I pick up my rental on the same day?
Yes, most trailers are ready for pickup within 30 minutes.
How do I pick up my trailer?
We operate a contactless system. All pickup instructions are sent to your phone via text.

Do you offer delivery or pickup services?
Yes, delivery is available. The delivery fee is $2 per mile for the first 10 miles and $3 per mile for each additional mile beyond 10 miles.
